Skyliners, Starlights Selected for ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships 2019

U.S. Figure Skating announced today the two junior teams selected to represent the United States at the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships 2019 in Neuchatel, Switzerland set for March 15-16, 2019.

USA 1 will be Skyliners based out of Stamford, Connecticut, and Monsey/Elmsford, New York. The 2018 U.S. junior champions won the silver medal at the 2018 World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. In Neuchatel, they will look to continue their international success of this season, which includes silver medals at both Mozart Cup and French Cup.

The Starlights have been named USA 2. Based in Buffalo Grove/Vernon Hills, Illinois, and Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, the team placed second earlier this season at Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy and third at Leon Lurje Trophy.

The first alternates are the Lexettes, while Teams Elite are the second alternates.
