Team USA brought home two medals from the sixth stop on the International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix Series as
Robert Yampolsky earned silver and
Sonia Baram and Daniel Tioumentsev claimed bronze in Gdańsk, Poland.
In the men's event, Yampolsky captured his first Junior Grand Prix medal after securing personal best scores in the short program, free skate and total score.
His short program to "Lord and Master" by Apashe featured four Level 4 elements and a triple Lutz-triple toe combination, which helped him reach a score of 77.39. He then started off his "Age of Heroes" free skate with a strong triple Axel-triple toe combination and executed three Level 4 elements for 145.67 points, bringing his total to 223.06.
Beck Strommer finished seventh overall with a total score of 181.92. He scored a new international personal pest in the short program, earning high marks on his triple Lutz-triple toe combination for 67.92 points. William Annis placed right behind in eight with 180.23 points. He executed three level 4 elements in his "Your Song" free skate.
Japan's Takeru Anime Kataise captured the gold with a total score of 234.24. Minkyu Seo of Korea took the bronze with 206.67 points.

In the pairs competition, Baram and Tioumentsev earned their second medal on the Junior Grand Prix circuit this season after winning gold at the first JGP of the season, clinching bronze with a combined score of 152.49.
Their short program to "Bla Bla Bla Cha Cha Cha" featured a backward inside death spiral, which received positive grades of execution and led to a short program score of 56.33. A strong triple twist and three Level 4 elements during their "Pilgrims on a Long Journey/Primavera'' free skate ensured their place on the podium.
Australia's Anastasia Golubeva and Hektor Giotopoulos Moore won the gold with a combined score of 161.17 and Ukraine's Violetta Sierova and Ivan Khobta brought home the silver with 154.76 points.
All three competitors in the women's competition scored international personal bests over the course of the competition.
With new international personal bests in the short, free and total score,
Mia Kalin finished just off the podium in fourth with a score of 177.71. Following a short program to "The Power of Mind" by Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen in which she earned 59.50, her "Experience" free skate featured two quad jumps as well as a triple flip-Euler-triple Salchow combination for 118.21 points.
Josephine Lee got off to a strong start, placing fourth in the short program with four Level 4 elements and 61.72 points, a new international personal best. With 107.70 points in the free skate, she earned a total score of 169.42, also a new international personal best, and finished seventh.
Elyce Lin-Gracey finished ninth with a total score of 158.38, scoring 52.90 in the short program and 105.48 in the free skate. Finishing strong, both her free skate and total scores are a new international personal best.
Japan's Ami Nakai topped the podium with 205.90 points. Korea's Jia Shin finished second with 194.69 points and Minsol Kwon came in third with 186.63 points.
In ice dance, Elliana and Ethan Peal also had a weekend where they earned three new international personal bests and led Team USA with a sixth-place finish. They scored 56.55 in the rhythm dance before taking 85.32 in the free dance for a combined score of 141.87. Their
Halo free dance featured two Level four lifts and a well-executed set of synchronized twizzles.
Helena Carhart and Volodymyr Horovyi finished eighth with 140.10 points, completing two Level 4 elements in their "Long Way Down/Another Love" free dance.
Canada's Nadiia Bashynska and Peter Beaumont stood on the top step of the podium with a combined score of 171.61 and Jordyn Lewis and Noah McMillan captured bronze with 149.83 points. Germany's Darya Grimm and Michail Savitskiy took silver with a total of 154.41 points.
The final Junior Grand Prix event will take place in Italy on Oct. 12-14. Top athletes from the seven-competition series will qualify for the Junior Grand Prix Final in December.
