Tallying eight medals so far on the Grand Prix of Figure Skating circuit, Team USA heads to Grand Prix de France in Angers, France for the third stop of the Grand Prix series. Seven U.S. athletes will compete Nov. 4-5 in the women's, pairs and ice dance disciplines.
In ice dance,
Eva Pate and Logan Bye return to the international stage after taking home the U.S. International Classic silver earlier this season with a personal best international score in their rhythm dance (72.66) and final score (179.63). The duo will compete in France with teammatesÂ
Katarina Wolfkostin and Jeffrey Chen, who secured bronze at the Budapest Trophy in October. In Hungary, Wolfkostin and Chen earned personal best international scores in their rhythm dance (72.37), free dance (108.09) and final score (180.46).
Competing as the sole U.S. competitors in the pairs event,
Maria Mokhova and Ivan Mokhov return to the Grand Prix stage after finishing fourth at Skate America. The brother-sister duo finished fourth at the U.S. International Classic earlier this season, setting personal bests in their free skate (106.64) and final score (161.29).
For the women's events,
Audrey Shin will open her 2022-23 Grand Prix season in Angers after claiming the 2022 Cranberry Cup title and finishing fourth at the U.S. International Classic. Shin earned her first Gran Prix medal in 2020 at Skate America where she earned bronze.
Competition starts on Friday, Nov. 4 with the short programs and rhythm dance. The event will conclude with the free skates and free dance on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The Grand Prix Series, now in its 27th season, consists of six international events in a cumulative point-scoring format. Each athlete or team is eligible to score points in up to two of the six scheduled events. The top six point-earners in each discipline qualify for the 2022 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, set for Dec. 8-10 in Torino, Italy.
