U.S. Figure Skating today announced the 10 teams that will represent the United States in the 2026 ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating.
The
Haydenettes,
Skyliners and
Teams Elite have all been awarded the maximum two assignments in the series at the senior level. At the junior level,
Teams Elite junior enters as the Challenger Series champions the last two seasons.
For the second straight year, a Challenger Series event will be hosted on home soil. The U.S. Synchronized Skating International Classic will be the third of four events, taking place Jan. 30-31, 2026, at The Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts.
The U.S. delegation will be led by the
Haydenettes, the reigning World bronze medalists and 32-time U.S. champions that train at The Skating Club of Boston.
At the junior level, the four teams who have stood on the U.S. Championships podium the last four years will skate for the red, white and blue, headlined by
Teams Elite junior, which became the first U.S. synchronized skating team to win gold at any level at a World Championships last season when they clinched the World title at the World Junior Championships.
Skyliners junior are six-time World Junior medalists, and secured bronze last season.
The Challenger Series, which began in 2019-20, will consist of four international competitions in January and February. The series gives adequate opportunities for synchronized skating teams to compete at the international level, earn World Standing Points and prepare for competing at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships.
Last season, U.S. teams brought home five medals from the Challenger Series, including two gold.
