Sophie Joline von Felten,
Caleb Farrington and the pairs team of
Naomi Williams and Lachlan Lewer will attempt to punch their ticket to the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2025 when they take the ice this week at Junior Grand Prix Poland.
Those U.S. skaters earned bronze medals at their first Junior Grand Prix of the season, positioning themselves to potentially qualify for the Final in December in Japan.
The U.S. Junior National Team will send two entries each in the women's, men's, pairs and ice dance events to Poland. Competition runs Oct. 1-4 at Hala Olivia arena. JGP Poland is the sixth of seven in the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series.
A total of two U.S. singles skaters, a pairs team and two ice dance teams will make their Junior Grand Prix Series debuts.
Von Felten, the 2025 U.S. junior champion who placed third at JGP Turkey, will look to build upon that competition and her victory at Cranberry Cup International in the junior ranks.
She'll be joined in the women's event by
Kaya Tiernan, who secured bronze at Cranberry Cup International and is making her JGP debut.
Farrington clinched bronze, his first Junior Grand Prix medal, in his JGP debut in Azerbaijan last week and is riding momentum heading into his second straight Junior Grand Prix in Poland.
Also taking the ice for the U.S. in the men's event is
Louis Mallane, who is making his JGP debut. He earned his first medal at an international competition last season at 2025 Denver Cup and finished eighth as a junior at Cranberry Cup International last month.
In pairs, Williams and Lewer look to earn a Junior Grand Prix Final berth after taking bronze at JGP Latvia, the first event in the series in late August. The duo finished as the World Junior bronze medalists in 2024, and last season made the jump to the senior ranks, placing sixth at the U.S. Championships.
They'll be joined by JGP newcomers
Milada Kovar and Jared McPike. Although they are skating at a Junior Grand Prix for the first time, they do have experience standing on an international podium after bringing home silver from 2025 Robin Cousins Cup.
Siblings
Grace Fischer and Luke Fischer, with training partners
Sophia Feige and Wiles Middlekauff, will make their JGP debuts in ice dance.
The Fischers, who began training together in the spring of 2020, finished first at the 2025 Egna Dance Trophy in the advanced novice division and were silver medalists at the 2025 U.S. Championships, also in the novice class. Feige and Middlekauff arrive as the 2025 U.S. novice bronze medalists.
Competition commences Thursday with the women's, pairs and men's short programs. The rhythm dance, pairs free skate and women's free skate take place Friday. The free dance and men's free skate are set for Saturday.
