2021 U.S. Championship Series presented by Toyota (Novice, Intermediate, Juvenile) | Competition Central

The 2021 U.S. Figure Skating Championship Series presented by Toyota moved to a virtual format due to the impact of COVID-19. Juvenile, intermediate and novice athletes who were registered for the Series will be offered the opportunity to participate in high-level virtual programming and virtual events. Athletes performing in this event are hoping to qualify for the 2021 National Development Team. The event is split into three separate portions: a "Virtual Celebration of Competitive Skating" in January 2021, a competition event for all novice and ice dance athletes to perform their free skate/free dance in February 2021, and an audition for juvenile and intermediate singles and pairs in March 2021.

Novice Singles and Pairs; Juvenile, Intermediate and Novice Ice Dance
Entrants will submit one video of their free skate/free dance to be judged by a panel of officials. The short programs/rhythm dances will not be competed in this event. Athletes perform their program beginning December 21, 2020, and submit their best performance.

Juvenile and Intermediate Singles and Pairs
Entrants will submit one video of an audition to be judged by a panel of officials. Auditions are 1:30 +/- :10 and consist of four elements: for singles, a solo jump, a jump combination or sequence, a spin and a step sequence; and for pairs, a jump combination or sequence, a solo spin or spin combination, a pair element and a prescribed sequence. Short programs and free skates will not be competed in this event. Athletes perform their audition beginning December 21, 2020, and submit their best performance. Results will be posted the week of March 29, 2021. Athletes are divided into groups based on their age as of Sept. 1, 2020:

Girls
- Age 10 and younger
- Age 11-13
- Age 14 and older
Boys
- Age 13 and younger
- Age 14 and older
