SKATING NOTES
Began partnership in May 2024.

Pedersen began skating at age 3; her sisters were taking Learn to Skate classes, but she was too young, so she would walk around in rental skates with her dad until she was old enough to start classes herself ... Always knew she wanted to be an ice dancer from watching Team USA athletes Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue ... Loves telling a story through movement ... Previously competed with Jeffrey Chen (23-24 season), winning the U.S. junior silver medal.

Starr began skating when he was 4 after he found a VCR tap of "Nutcracker on Ice" in his parent's basement and he fell in love immediately. The Nutcracker was played by Vladimir Petrenko and when his mom took him to the local rink, Petrenko was there, tied his first-ever pair of skates and became his first coach ... Previously skated with Jenna Hauer (2017-24), winning two U.S. junior medals and gold in the juvenile event at the 2018 U.S. Championships.

PERSONAL NOTES
Pedersen's parents are Dina and Michael ... Has three sisters: Gaya, Arielle and Niva ... Has two bunnies Twizzle and Peaches, as well as a dog Barley and a cat Krembo ... Is a Learn to Skate apprentice coach at her club ... Hobbies include crafting, macro photography, playing with her bunnies, dancing, and going on bike rides.

Starr's parents are Alexander and Svetlana Staroselsky ... Has two brothers, Maxim and Michael ... Currently attends Brandeis University ... Graduated from Avon High School ... Has played the piano since he was 7 ... Has five years of pre-professional ballet training at the University of Hartford and six years of experience in competitive ballroom dancing ... Enjoys playing chess, reading, hiking, race skiing, and science fiction.
