SKATING NOTES
Teamed up in April 2023.

Pedersen began skating at age 3; her sisters were taking Learn to Skate classes, but she was too young, so she would walk around in rental skates with her dad until she was old enough to start classes herself ... Always knew she wanted to be an ice dancer from watching Team USA athletes Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue ... Loves telling a story through movement.

Chen began skating after being inspired by his sister, Karen ... Competed in singles and was the 2014 juvenile pewter medalist ...Previously skated with Katarina Wolfkostin from 2019-23, winning the U.S. junior championship in 2021 and earning bronze at the 2020 Youth Olympic Games ... Also rreviously skated with Layla Karnes, with whom he won the 2016 U.S. juvenile title and 2017 intermediate silver medal; Gianna Buckley, with whom he  won the 2018 novice silver medal; and Anna Lavrova.

Pedersen's parents are Dina and Michael ... Has three sisters: Gaya, Arielle and Niva ... Has two bunnies Twizzle and Peaches as well as a dog Barley and a cat Krembo ... Attends Michigan Virtual ... Is a Learn to Skate apprentice coach at her club ... Hobbies include macro-photography, taking care of her bunnies and dancing

Chen is a hip-hop dancer and gamer ... Hobbies include teaching himself to play the guitar and photography ... Sister Karen is the 2017 U.S. ladies champion and represented Team USA at the 2018 and 2022 Olympic Winter Games ... Has a Sun Conure named Mango ... Is a computer science major at the University of Michigan.
