Can you feel the excitement for 2018 Skate America this week? Team USA has been busy posting their early journeys through competition season.

Keep an eye out for even more events to come this season. It can be tough to keep up with your favorite competitors, so here's an update of what you might have missed this week!

1. Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker are enjoying Montreal to the fullest. Hawayek shared a snap from a fall BBQ with their new training mates, including Team USA's Madison Chock and Evan Bates. The two will take the Grand Prix scene by storm with NHK Trophy in Osaka, Japan and the Internationaux de France in Grenoble.

2. Angela Wang posted a snap from Finlandia Trophy in Espoo, Finland, and mentioned her excitement for the start of the season. Wang placed 8th overall with 160.99 and will compete in Hiroshima, Japan for the NHK Trophy in November.

3. Jason Brown has his game face on. With his first Grand Prix assignment just two weeks away, he posted a photo with training mate and two-time World champion Evgenia Medvedeva, who is also competing at Skate Canada International, to show just how ready they are.

4. Alexa Scimeca-Knierim and Chris Knierim have been prepping for 2018 Skate America with… yoga! Chris shared a clip of Alexa attempting the crow pose, which is known for its challenge of balance and strength, but Alexa is almost there!

She almost had it! #soclose
