Team USA Gives Thanks

Amidst the turkey carving and pie slicing, Thanksgiving is a time that we cherish the many blessings in our lives. Our Team USA athletes took the time to express who they are the most thankful for this holiday season.

"I'm most thankful for my family, my partner and my coaches because they support me no matter what and they always know what to say to make me feel better."

"Family is what we treasure most in life. Without family, you don't have much of anything. Family doesn't require a blood connection to one another, rather a relationship built on trust and love!" - Alexa

"I am so thankful for my husband, Dalton Gribble, and his unconditional support. He makes me laugh, wipes my tears, hugs me tight, cheers me on and keeps me strong!"

"I am most thankful for my family, but especially my mom. She is my biggest supporter and I am so grateful I get to share my skating journey with her.  I have so many memories of traveling the world together and I feel so lucky because I get to do what I love and share it with the people I love most in the world."

Vadym Kolesnik
"There are not enough words to describe how thankful I am to my parents. They taught me so much and going away to skate in the United States made me realize how much they both mean to me. Sometimes it's easier to focus on what we don't have, rather then what we have. So always cherish your parents who gave you life."

Happy Thanksgiving from U.S. Figure Skating!
