Isabeau Levito Clinches Silver at MK John Wilson Trophy

Fifteen-year-old sets new personal bests en route to second Grand Prix medal

At 15 years old, Isabeau Levito won her second straight silver medal in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, standing on the podium at the MK John Wilson Trophy in Sheffield, Great Britain, Sunday.

Levito has now medaled at every senior competition she's competed in, dating back to the 2022 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships in January.

Setting new personal bests in the free skate and total score with 143.68 and 215.74 points, respectively, the reigning World Junior champion started her free skate to "Dulcea Si Tandra Mea Fiara" with a strong triple Lutz-triple loop combination. Later in the program, she cleanly executed a triple series – a Lutz-Euler-triple Salchow – and earned Level 4s on each of her spins and her step sequence.

In her first Grand Prix of the season, Gabriella Izzo earned 111.18 for her free skate to "Memory (Virginia Woolf)." She totaled 174.10 points for seventh place.

Bradie Tennell competed for the first time since 2021 in Sheffield, finishing 12th after scoring 96.69 for her long program and 153.19 across the two-day event.

Mai Mihara of Japan won the women's competition with a free skate score of 145.20 and total score of 217.43. Anastasiia Gubanova of Georgia also stood on the podium with bronze, scoring 126.29 and 193.11 in the free skate and total score, respectively.

In the ice dance competition, Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko placed just off the podium in fourth.

Making their season debut, the 2022 Four Continents bronze medalists secured 187.42 total points, including 112.42 for their free dance to "Summertime." Carreira and Ponomarenko earned Level 4s on their synchronized twizzles, lifts and dance spin.

After setting a new personal best in rhythm dance on Saturday, Oona Brown and Gage Brown claimed new personal bests in the free dance and total score on Sunday with scores of 103.40 and 173.74, respectively.

Ranking seventh at their first Grand Prix, the Brown siblings also received Level 4s for their synchronized twizzles, dance spin and lifts.

Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri of Italy won gold (213.74 total score, 127.44 free dance) while Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson of Great Britain clinched silver on home soil (205.56 total score, 120.19 free dance). Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha of Canada rounded out the podium with bronze (198.95 total score, 117.86 free dance).
