Gracie Gold, Lorraine McNamara and Anton Spiridonov Added to 2022 Skate America

Lorraine McNamara skate close to Anton Spiridonov, his hand on her hip as they reach forward during their free dance at the 2022 U.S. Championships.Team USA announced two additions to the 2022 Skate America lineup with Gracie Gold set to compete in the women's event and Lorraine McNamara and Anton Spiridonov in ice dance.

Gold's return will mark her fifth Skate America® appearance since her event debut in 2014. The 2014 Olympic team event bronze medalist and two-time U.S. champion took home bronze at the 2022 Philadelphia Summer International to start the 2022-23 season. Gold trains in Aston, Pennsylvania, with Pavel Filchenkov and Alex Zahradnicek.

McNamara and Spiridonov will return to Skate America® for the second time after finishing sixth at the event in 2020. Most recently, the duo topped the podium at the 2022 Lake Placid Dance International. The two train in Rockville, Maryland, with coaches Alexei Kiliakov, Elena Novak and Ruslan Goncharev.

2022 Skate America, set for Oct. 21-23 in Norwood, Massachusetts, is the first stop on the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series 2022.
