The medal streak continued for
Skyliners junior at the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships 2023.
The team from Stamford, Connecticut, earned the bronze medal, scoring international season's bests for both their free skate and total score in Angers, France, on Saturday.
Skyliners junior has now medaled at the last four World Junior Championships they've competed at, dating back to 2018, adding a second bronze to their collection of two silvers.
The reigning U.S. junior champions,
Skyliners junior earned positive grades of execution on every element. They kicked off their legends-themed free skate with a Level 4 line and synchronized spin.
Skyliners junior also earned Level 4s for their move element and second intersection, which featured a Level 4 point of intersection and was their highest-scoring element of the performance.
Although they lost a point for a fall on their no hold element,
Skyliners junior clinched their fourth medal at the World Junior Championships with a free skate score of 117.23 for 186.63 points overall.
Skyliners junior medaled at every international event they competed at this season after two medals at the Challenger Series earlier this year.
The
Lexettes also represented Team USA, finishing sixth, which ties their best result at the World Junior Championships.

After an unfortunate fall on their first intersection, the
Lexettes ended strong, finishing with a Level 4 line element and Level 4 move element, their highest-scoring element of the performance. They claimed a two-day total score of 162.52.
Team Fintastic of Finland won the gold with 191.72 points and Nexxice of Canada clinched the silver with 188.65 points.
