Happy Father's Day from Team USA

Today we take time to celebrate the father figures in our lives. We would like to send a huge thank you to all of the dads out there who motivate and cherish our athletes every day; we appreciate the sacrifices you have made. Our Team USA athletes took time to express their gratitude by sharing one word that describes their fathers and why. Happy Father's Day from all of us here at U.S. Figure Skating!

My dad is the most loyal person I know. No matter what he wants to be there for people and he will stick by their side through the ups and downs. He has never given up on me or my dreams and has always helped me believe in myself.

A word I would use to describe my dad is intelligent. He has an analytical mind and I think that really helped me to make decisions. My father is always there for me and has helped shape me to become the person I am today. Love you dad!

Hardworking: My dad is the hardest working person I know, he teaches me every day that hard work pays off and to give 100% to everything I do. I wouldn't be where I am today without him and I'm so thankful that he supports me in everything I do.

Positive; I'm constantly asked how I stay so positive and keep such an optimistic outlook on situations! Well, the secret is my father. I don't think I've ever met a more uplifting, supportive, loving and everything half-full kind of person. I look up to my dad so much and he has inspired me to live a life filled with appreciation, perspective and resilience.

One word to describe my father is giving. He will do everything for his kids, and he gives 100% to his family, to his friends, to his job and everything he loves in his life. He also "gives" life to the space around him, filling it with laughter. I can always count on my dad to put a smile on my face and make me laugh! Happy Fathers Day, Dad. I love you!

Dedication: My father has always inspired me with his DEDICATION to his goals. He showed me that with hard work and perseverance you can do anything. He retired this month after working 34 years at Collins Aerospace. Love you, Dad!

My dad told me something that has stuck with me over the years: let other people's problems remain theirs. Once you get involved, it becomes your problem too. I'm eternally grateful to my dad for dedicating himself to helping his family in any way he can. So much would not be possible without him. I love you Dad, and happy Father's Day!
